- Install rzsafe on the parent and child Android phones.
- Choose I’m a parent, create an account, and tap Add child.
- On the child phone, choose Set up a child’s phone and enter the pairing code.
- Tap Start sharing on the child phone and grant location and notification permissions.
What to expect in this preview
Keep the parent app open for alerts and calls. Background push notifications are not enabled. Android battery restrictions, force-stopping the app, and connectivity can interrupt location updates. Reopen the child app and start sharing after a restart. SOS is a family message, not a call to emergency services.

No hidden microphone or camera access. No call recording. Either person can end a call, and leaving the app ends camera and microphone access. Location history is kept for up to 24 hours and is cleared when sharing is paused. Family activity is kept for up to 7 days.
Disconnecting a child phone removes its locations and activity. Maps use OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address and the viewed map area. Your account and family data are hosted on the dedicated rzsafe service.
